Update

It’s been close to two months since my last post. A lot has happened since then and I would like to talk briefly about what transpired. First of all I would like to explain my long hiatus, it wasn’t easy for me to post because in the last two months I didn’t have the best attitude and I promised myself I will never post when I am mad or disappointed. This is because I could end up saying something that I would regret for a long time and the consequences could be way far worse than I imagine. So in doubt I never posted.

The reason I was down for the last two months is because I wasn’t able to secure a student visa. After several attempts sadly to say the consulate officers didn’t think I deserve a visa. I will not chastise any of them because they were doing their jobs and I would leave it at that. Without a student visa that means Simon Business School has moved from being a dream to a what-if. I really did want to go there and I had all my ducks aligned in a row but in the end I couldn’t manage to do it. Alas. Shout out to all the amazing people in the Admissions Committee they are awesome!!!!!!!

In the last two months I went to baby sit my nephew in Mombasa and I must admit that was a lot of fun. I love my nephew a lot and I have to say that taking care of him is a test of your character because he is really something. After a while when you get used to him and he gets used to you it becomes easier to take care of him. I love how when he talks to me and he smiles and he makes me smile. I think I should get my own baby. Anyways more on that in upcoming posts parenting-how-not-to-do-it.

Last month was December and with that came the festive season. And you know how we do it, I attended a couple of parties hosted a few and they were all epic. I love the friends I have and I am really glad I was blessed with them. More on them

Lastly I would like to congratulate Valarie and Jochen, as they got married a few days ago. I am really happy that God made that happen for them and I wish them the best for their future.

  1. Zaby - I noticed you were not posting and was worried. So very sorry to hear you didn't get your Visa. Hopefully something even better will come along. In the meantime, I'm glad to see that you are posting again.
